Problem and Solution
PROBLEM
LEFT UNTREATED, ASPHALT WILL DETERIORATE RAPIDLY! THE ASPHALT BINDER THAT HOLDS THE PAVEMENT TOGETHER BEGINS TO OXIDIZE AND BREAK DOWN DUE TO: ULTRAVIOLET RAYS FROM THE SUN, GAS/OIL, MOISTURE FROM RAIN, SNOW, AND FROST.
SOLUTION
APPLY COAL TAR EMULSION SEALER TO REPLENISH THE BINDER THAT IS LOST THROUGH WEATHERING AND AGING, AND PROVIDE SUPERIOR PROTECTION AGAINST ENVIRONMENTAL DISTRESS.

APPLY COAL TAR EMULSION SEALER TO REPLENISH THE BINDER THAT IS LOST THROUGH WEATHERING AND AGING, AND PROVIDE SUPERIOR PROTECTION AGAINST ENVIRONMENTAL DISTRESS.
- Superior Asphalt Sealing SHEILDS against the drying action of the sun. The sealer’s coal tar base prevents raveling, cracking and deterioration.
- Superior Asphalt Sealing RESISTS gas and oils. Only coal tar sealers protect asphalt from the destructive softening effects of oils and solvents.
- Superior Asphalt Sealing WEATHERPROOFS. The Asphalt Institute states “the accumulations of moisture in pavement structures is probably the greatest cause of pavement distress!” Superior Asphalt Sealing prevents water seepage into the porous asphalt surface, stopping weather damage
- Superior Asphalt Sealing BEAUTIFIES your asphalt pavement by providing a consistent slate black color which gives the surface a rich, new-looking appearance.
- Your asphalt surface LASTS longer. Approx. 300% longer (with regular maintenance).

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Cold Patch
Best For:
Potholes between 1″-2″ deep that are 5 square feet or less in diameter.
Description:
Cold patch is air cured cold asphalt that is good for small patches. This method is used to fill small shallow holes in asphalt driveways. Potholes must have support on all sides for the cold patch to be effective.
Process:
- Remove loose pieces of asphalt and debris from pothole.
- Fill the hole with cold patch.
- Use a hand tamp to compact the cold patch.
Expectations:
Cold patch will have a rough, porous texture that won’t blend perfectly with the surrounding asphalt in the driveway. This is an intermediate solution that is not designed to last the life of the driveway.
Hot Crack Sealant
Best For:
Large driveways with very wide and deep linear cracks.
Description:
This material is solid rubber that is heated until it reaches a liquid form. Once liquefied, it is applied to large linear cracks on your asphalt driveway.
- Thoroughly clean dirt and debris from large cracks.
- Apply hot crack sealant to cracks.
Expectations:
Hot crack sealant will be a different texture than the surrounding asphalt. Cracks may still have a small depression; however, the sealant will thoroughly protect your asphalt. Longevity of crack filler is dictated based off quality of subbase.
Hot Patch
Best For:
Driveways with larger holes, dips or fractured areas.
Description:
This is a durable, long term solution for severely damaged areas of a driveway. Drives that are rutted, have extreme dipping or have heavily fractured sections are excellent candidates for this service.
- Saw cut around damaged area and remove old asphalt.
- Fill the hole with hot asphalt.
Expectations:
The patch will not match the same color or texture of the surrounding asphalt. A noticeable seam will be present between the fresh asphalt and the existing driveway.
